Brand Story

Origins

With the growth of Tequila and Mezcal, and the popularity of Margaritas,

we saw an opportunity to highlight the rich culinary history of Mexico with another ingredient- Orange Liqueur. We created Alma Finca to showcase the bright and tropical conditions of Yucatán, and to elevate all Margaritas, setting a new Mexican standard for the world’s most popular cocktail.

Alma Finca takes its name from the Spanish words Alma, meaning Soul, and Finca, meaning Estate. These words symbolize the essence of the Yucatán Peninsula’s lush landscapes, culinary flavors, and rich history.

Our Processs

Each fresh ingredient is hand-selected and hails from the Yucatán Peninsula, the citrus capital of Mexico—a new lush landscape in the world of Mexican spirits.

How it’s Made

Each fruit, flower, leaf, and spice

is meticulously selected before being cleaned, peeled, and processed by hand. We start with Bitter Oranges, endemic to Mexico, and move beyond the typical ingredients, utilizing Sweet Oranges, Sweet Orange leaves, Persian Lime leaves and Lemon leaves, deepening the flavor of our Orange Liqueur. We add Allspice and Achiote, both sourced from the Mérida market in Yucatán.

These individual flavors are blended together to create a bright, complex Orange Liqueur.

Harvested in the Yucatán Peninsula. the citrus capital of Mexico.

The rich ecosystem of the Yucatán Peninsula provides an emotional landscape at the genesis of Alma Finca’s story. Bright sun, tropical conditions, and rich soil enriched by coral provide unparalleled growing conditions for world-renowned citrus. Each sip of our citrus liqueur transports you to this magical place
 — a lush, new, exotic landscape in the world of Mexican spirits, and one of the world’s oldest and most authentic citrus communities
